The Renshaw Reunion port this year was Las Vegas! The reunion kicked off on Monday, October 15 and concluded with our banquet on Wednesday, October 17th.
Our hotel was the Imperial Palace on the strip. On Tuesday, October 16th we saw an awesome show called the “Legends in Concert” featuring Elvis, Ray Charles, The Supremes and Tom Jones. The performers doing these characters were outstanding. You almost had to believe it really was Ray Charles on stage. The package included dinner before the show.
We did not plan any tours, as most of us were consumed winning millions of dollars in the casinos. Some shipmates did tour of the nearby attractions on their own. Our traditional banquet was held at the hotel at 1900 on Wednesday, October 17th and we had an outstanding guest speaker, as usual. We'll have more info on our speaker later.
The Hospitality Room and all the other things we've come to expect at great Renshaw Reunions were all there for us to enjoy.
